Since 2000, IAF has been working to help some schools in the Guatemalan Inland, perhaps, the best example of this work is the Panima Bey School, located in Comalapa, Chimaltenango,

65 kilometers East of Guatemala City.

This school is like the flagship of the Real Love for Children Program, now called Children for Tomorrow.

But this in not the only school we have been working for, but as well as the other programs, our coverage is limited by our financial capability, donations and grants.

We understand perfectly the concept that...united we are stronger!...and that there are so many needs around the world that only working together with others individuals and organizations we can achieve a lot more.

In the past years, we have done many activities with institutions such as the Guatemala´s City Social Services Office, The Guatemalan First Lady for Social Work, Schools PTA´s, Spanish speaking media in the US, Guatemalan media, just to mention a few.

Currently, we are working hard in developing a very aggressive strategy to reach and work with some important organizations not only in the US but in the Central America area.

There is a saying that...Education opens any door! And must be true because education means knowledge, understanding, tolerance, progress and so many positive things!

That’s why one of the pillars of IAF philosophy and programs is education.

In the US, specially Los Angeles, we are trying to support projects that promotes education to our migrants.

One of this programs is the monthly publication Horizontes.

In Guatemala, we support some schools located in poverty area, specially in the highlands.
